Volunteer Information Session | Cleveland/Independence | Feb. 1
Absolute Hospice will be holding an information session on Feb. 1st at our Cleveland location located at 6200 Oak Tree Blvd., Indpendence, OH from 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. The information session is free for anyone interested in becoming a hospice volunteer.
Volunteers do not need to have experience in healthcare. During the session, you'll receive an overview of hospice care and have the opportunity to ask questions and get answers related to volunteer positions.
Hospice volunteers provide both direct patient support and behind-the-scenes assistance. Volunteers can lend direct support to patients and their families by providing respite, visiting, running errands, crafting, assisting with meals, and much more. Those who prefer less-direct patient care duties can provide bereavement services to caregivers, or administrative and marketing assistance in the hospice offices.
