A Measure of Peace through Funeral Grants
Research has shown that over half of Americans have a difficult time paying for funeral expenses, and we see the struggles families face everyday. The Absolute Foundation funeral grant addresses the financial burden associated with funeral costs. Join us in providing a measure of peace to families so they can focus on the memory and legacy of their loved one.
Capturing Memories through Final Wishes
Every day we encounter remarkable patients - patients that are individuals with real dreams and desires. Our final wish program addresses the fact that we continue to dream, even as we age. Through our final wish grant, My Heart’s Desire, we give our patients the freedom to ask themselves what their heart's desires are.
Consider the heart-warming story of Suzie Lynn Felder:
At 100 years old, she wanted to rediscover her old stomping grounds - Cleveland, Ohio. Lolly the Trolley, a narrated sightseeing tour that travels 20 miles throughout the city was the perfect option for reliving Suzie’s adolescences. The day was full of pointing at old buildings and attractions and laughter with the nurse and a caregiver. With little indication, Suzie peacefully passed away the next day. Our team was so grateful that we could pour into her life and make her second to last day on earth worthwhile. And, it was all thanks to My Heart’s Desire.
